Since 13 till 15 May 2015 LesPromInforn and Russian Forestry Review will take part in the largest forestry and woodworking trade fair of the year - LIGNA, to be held at the trade Fair ground Hannover Messe in Germany.
LIGNA is considered to be one of the most significant trade fairs in the world in the spheres of forestry and woodworking. It is conducted in even-numbered years and attracts a wide number of participants, and visitors. 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries are expected to take part in the fair this year; they will be placed in 10 pavilions of Hannover Exhibition Grounds.
Over 90,000 specialists from 100 world countries visited the fair LIGNA in 2013. This year the number of visitors is not expected to change greatly, especially as the organization committee of the trade fair Deutsche Messe AG is preparing a row of innovations. One of the exciting new developments at LIGNA 2015 is that some of the fair's exhibitors of woodworking and processing equipment will be showcasing the non-wood capabilities of their machines. Visitors will see machines that can handle not just wood, but plastics, composite panels, composites, insulation and construction materials. The ability to process plastics and composites is also becoming increasingly important in the joinery and cabinetmaking trades, for who in halls 11,12,14 and 15 some exhibitors will present innovative solutions and entry-level CNC options.
The other major new development at LIGNA 2015 is the premiere of the Wood Industry Summit, an intelligent, integrated platform comprising an exhibition area, a matchmaking platform, and a dialogue forum. The Summit targets exhibitors from international companies and economic regions that provide large-scale forestry machinery and other primary wood-processing technologies.
LIGNA 2015 will also feature the Fibers in Process at LIGNA marketplace - a group pavilion that will provide a wood industry perspective on the various processes and technologies used in the pulp and paper industry. It is important to note that the first two days of the fair - 11 and 12 May will be dedicated to the Russian Federation, and all the events, conducted in frames of the trade fair, will be with simultaneous translation into Russian.
This year LesPromInform will pass out from its stand No. D14 in the Hall 27 a new issue LesPromInform #3(109), and selection of issues for 2014 and 2015, and collection of articles in English Russian Forestry Review #6
, which traditionally comes out preceding LIGNA.
There will be four people working on the show LIGNA: General Director Svetlana Yarovaya, Art-Director Andrey Zabelin, Marketing Director Elena Shumeyko, and Manager of advertising and special projects Julia Valayne.
